iL-studio opent een café in Milaan
Tijdens de Salone del Mobile schenkt iL-studio Nederlandse wijn in haar eigen BAR. Een verrassing, in het culinaire Italië.
“We brengen een hele bar mee, inclusief allerhande drank en hapjes!” Maar in Milaan zijn er zaken die nog belangrijker zijn dan eten en drinken: de meubels!
iL-studio presenteert een bar van Corian®, een serie nieuwe tafels en stoelen.
De stoelen gaan uit van FrameFoam, omhuld door een 3-dimensionaal weefsel. Er zijn vier verschillende banken en stoelen, waaronder een stoel die in rust anders van vorm is dan als er iemand op zit. Er is een 4 meter lange bank, die bestaat uit twee delen die in elkaar 'geklikt' kunnen worden. 'De KlikBank'. Op de leuning van de bank is een zitplaats voor de mensen aan de andere kant van de bank.
Ook de tafels en de persbalie voor de tentoonstelling van het Stedelijk Museum zijn door het Amsterdamse bureau ontworpen en geproduceerd.

iL-studio to open a bar in Milan
During the Salone del Mobile, iL-studio will serve Dutch wine in her own BAR. Quite a surprise, in culinary Italy.
“This year is very special: we will open a bar, with various drinks and snacks!” But, of course, in Milan in April there are more import things than food and drinks: furniture!
iL-studio will show a counter made from Corian®, a series of new tables and stools. Settees and chairs made from FrameFoam, enwrapped by a very distinctive
3-dimensional fabric. 'KlapBank' is a chair whose shape is different depending on whether you sit on it or not. "KlikBank' is a four metres long settee consisting of two different parts to be ‘clicked’ together.
The Amsterdam based studio also designed and produced tables and a press desk for the show of the Dutch capital’s museum of modern art, the Stedelijk Museum.
